What’s a book you never finished but still think about?
I really love the movie “IT” that came out in 2017; I remember watching it with my wife and sister at the movie theater during her visit to Omaha. It was a great experience since we love horror movies.
I have this habit of researching after watching a movie, about the cast, their previous work, reading fan theories, movie inspiration, and some fun facts about it. I liked the movie, so I researched it and found that it’s an adaptation of Stephen King’s novel of the same name.
I placed a hold on the novel at my public library and bought it with lots of excitement. Like any other King novel, “IT” was engaging. But the novel is lengthy, like a saga; it has more than 1,000 pages. I reached 250- 300 pages, but then my priorities shifted, and I stopped reading it.
I still regret not completing it and want to finish. 1000 pages are still a commitment; I will do that one day for sure.
