If you could start a new business right now, what would it be?
I love coffee and enjoy exploring different kinds of coffee shops on our travels. Even now, we are on a trip, and we tried the coffee at a cafe called “Before & After” in Leadville, Colorado—such a unique ambiance and a variety of coffees and flavors. They have 2 swings, various stylish seating options, and games at each table.
I always dreamt of having my own cafe, so that would be the business I’d love to start. Harmit does Quilling and has lots of beautiful handiwork, so the coffee shop will have those artifacts along with my travel photographs, which will enhance the experience. Of course, there will be books to read, and the collection will be mostly classics.
We’ll have food, along with coffee and tea. I’ll have a collection of cups (from my home) from various trips, and customers can choose the one they like. This idea is from a coffee shop we explored a while back named “The Cup”; unfortunately, they closed it and converted it into a bar when I visited them recently. It will be a dream come true.
