Best thing that came out of COVID is the free time we are getting to develop skills or pursue our hobbies. We witnessed storms and harsh cold weather in Omaha during the month, so basically we made no road trips and just stayed at home. There was not much to photograph, but on the other hand good chance to get closer to this year’s reading goal (60 books). This month I read total 10 books out of which 4 were on Kindle and rest were borrowed from local library.
|1||Shanta : The Story of Rama’s Sister||Neelakantan, Anand||Kindle||Hindu Mythology||3/5|
|3||The Stranger in the Woods: The Extraordinary Story of the Last True Hermit||Finkel, Michael||Book||Survival story||4/5|
|6||The Nickel Boys||Whitehead, Colson||Book||Fiction||5/5|
|7||Adulthood Is a Myth (Sarah’s Scribbles, #1)||Andersen, Sarah||Book||Graphic||4/5|
|8||Chetna’s Healthy Indian: Vegetarian: Everyday veg and vegan feasts effortlessly good for you||Makan, Chetna||Book||Health & Food||2/5|
|9||A Burning||Majumdar, Megha||Book||Fiction||3/5|
|10||The Ardent Swarm||Manai, Yamen||Kindle||Fiction||4/5|
Best among all was of course “The Nickel Boys”, a story inspired from real incidents. It also won Pulitzer price 2020 in Fiction.
