Which author would you love to have dinner with?
Franz Kafka would be the author I would love to have dinner with. Unfortunately, he is not physically with us, but his work makes him immortal. My first introduction to Kafka was through “Metamorphosis”, a short story that is too deep in its essence.
His life itself was a tragedy, and that is reflected in his work. He wrote mostly on bureaucracy and isolation. Unfortunately, many of his works are incomplete. You know that his friend had some of his incomplete works, and he got them published. Thanks to his friend, who showed the world how masterful Franz was.
Forget about the dinner, just to be in a same room with Kafka will be an honour.

Now, talking about a living author I would like to have dinner with, it would be Stephan King. King is the master of the horror genre. I think he has the most movie adaptations of his books. My recent movie based on his novel is “The Mist”. I have started reading the novel. I love to read the book and then watch the adaptation, which gives me perspectives from two different people.
What fascinates me about King is the way he creates horror from the smallest, unthinkable things and situations. It would be an honor to listen to him over dinner. I would love to understand how he sees the world and the inspiration he draws from his surroundings.
